She had assured him that she would never tell anyone about his accident that night – and she meant it at the time – but things had changed. Adam needed to be brought down a peg or two. Maddy didn’t go right home after the breakup. She decided to stop at Walgreens to make a little purchase. She walked inside and went to the baby isle, walking up and down with a smirk on her face. She took inventory and decided first things first: she picked up a case of Attends, a pack of diaper wipes, some baby powder, oil, and Vaseline. For…other things.
